Ingredients:
- 2 cups Millet
- 4 cups of water
- Kelp flakes
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne
- 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Lemon
- Black pepper
Preparation:
Combine millet and water in a pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 30 minuts uncovered. Pour cooked millet into a larger mixing bowl and combine with seasonings (Kelp and Cayenne), EVOO and lemon juice. Season with black pepper as desired.
This recipe has a unique taste of the “sea” from the kelp. If you like the taste of seaweed in miso soup or sushi, you will like this recipe. It is vegan/vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and egg free. Enjoy in good health!
